Is the spring water alkaline?

Yes, our spring water is naturally alkaline, with a pH ranging from 7.2 to 7.8, depending on the natural temperature of the spring.

How often should I clean my water cooler or dispenser, and how do I do this?

We recommend cleaning your water cooler or dispenser quarterly. For detailed cleaning instructions, click on “Cleaning Info” under the ‘More Info’ tab on our website (menu bottom right of screen).  

How do I pay?

We accept Online Payments, EFTPOS on delivery, online bank transfers, PayPal, credit cards or by calling our office.

What is the minimum order amount?

A minimum of 2 x 15-litre bottles or 2 x small bottle cartons per delivery is required.

How do I install a stainless steel tap on my ceramic bench-top dispenser?

Ensure you place the rubber and stainless steel washers on the inside and outside of the dispenser to prevent leaks.

Can I use the bottles to store anything other than spring water?

No, there is a $22 fee per bottle for any bottles that are not returned, contaminated, lost, or damaged.  The bottles are recycled and refilled and remain the property of Montville Mist.

What should I do if I’m going away and don’t need a delivery?

Please call us to skip your delivery for those dates.

How many days in advance should I place my order?

Please place your order two working days before your scheduled delivery to ensure it is processed in time.

What if my house receives a lot of natural light?

Consider using a bottle cover, available under the shop tab on our website.

What are the office hours?

Our office operates Monday to Thursday from 9am to 3.30pm and Fridays 9am – 1.30pm (bottling and delivery may operate outside of these hours).

What if I need a refill before my delivery day?

Water Depots stock our 15 L bottles. Please remember to bring your empties with you!

How do I find out the typical analysis of minerals?

You can find the typical mineral analysis by clicking on “Your Health” under the ‘More Info’ tab on our website (menu bottom right of screen).

I have lost my delivery calendar. Can I get a new one?

Yes, you can download it from the bottom of this page on our website or request one to be delivered on your next scheduled delivery.

What are your payment terms?

Payment is due in full on the day of delivery COD.

Do I need to remove the bottle caps before placing them on the dispenser?

No, our ceramic bench-top dispensers and water cooler units come with a spike, so there is no need to remove the caps.

How often is delivery?

We provide automatic fortnightly delivery to homes and offices.

Is delivery automatic, or do I need to call each time?

Delivery is automatic unless you notify us that you do not require a delivery. Please give two days’ notice if possible.

How do I let the driver know how many bottles I want for each delivery?

The delivery driver will automatically replace the number of empty bottles with full ones. If you need more, leave a handwritten note for the driver.

Where should I store the bottles?

Store all bottles (full or empty) in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight, heat, and chemicals / fuel storage.

How much do the bottles weigh?

11-litre bottles weigh approximately 12 kg, and 15-litre bottles weigh approximately 16 kg each.

Do the bottles contain BPA?

Our 11 L and 15 L bottles are made of polycarbonate and contain BPA, but BPA is not leached unless exposed to temperatures above 80 degrees. We also offer BPA-free 15 L bottles.

Water makes up 60-80% of our body mass, so it’s essential to drink quality spring water to support overall health. Our water contains a blend of natural minerals that are beneficial for your body, sourced directly from nature.

Cleaning Instructions

For Water Cooler Units

  1. Position the cooler where sunlight does not reach the bottle.
  2. Store all bottles in a cool, dry, clean location away from sunlight and chemicals.
  3. Clean the cooler at least quarterly:
    • Remove the bottle and excess water through the tap.
    • Pour water into the top of the cooler and add household detergent or 50 ml of vinegar.
    • Scrub with a non-abrasive scouring pad.
    • Empty the water using the taps.
    • Rinse with boiling water and clean around the taps.
    • Replace the spring water bottle.
  4. Do not put anything in the bottles; a $22 fee is charged for contamination.
  5. Lost or damaged bottles incur a $22 replacement fee.
  6. We offer a cleaning service for $44 per cooler.

For Ceramic & Plastic Dispensers

  1. Position the dispenser where sunlight does not reach the bottle.
  2. Store bottles in a cool, dry, clean location away from sunlight and chemicals.
  3. Clean the dispenser monthly:
    • Remove the bottle and excess water through the tap.
    • Pour 2 litres of tap water and add detergent or 50 ml of vinegar.
    • Scrub with a non-abrasive scouring pad.
    • Empty the dispenser, rinse with boiling water, and drain through the tap.
    • Allow the dispenser to dry before replacing the bottle.
  4. Follow the tap cleaning instructions listed below.
  5. Do not put anything in the bottles; a $22 fee is charged for contamination.
  6. Lost or damaged bottles incur a $22 replacement fee.
  7. We offer a cleaning service for $44 per dispenser.

Fitting a New Tap or Cleaning Your Tap

  1. Assemble and disassemble the tap with the handle to the left, and remove the handle by unscrewing it.
  2. Wash all parts with warm soapy water, then rinse thoroughly.
  3. Hand-tighten the back nut and rotate the tap body one-quarter turn clockwise.
  4. Fill the dispenser with 3 litres of water and check for leaks.
  5. If leaks are detected, repeat the steps.
